I really like Nicky Bird's work in this series, for the way she has mixed the old with new so well. The images don't just show someone in that location in the past, but someones memories and their life spent in that place. Some of the images are of peoples family homes, making you wonder what kind of family live their now. All the people in the pictures look happy at the time, would they be happy to see what has become of the place they spent time?
